The KONG Flyer is a disc-shaped toy, designed to help sate dogs' instinct to chew. The product is the brainchild of Joe Markham, who noticed in the 1970s that his dog had taken to grinding his teeth on rocks. Unhappy with this, Markham experimented by giving his pooch a piece of rubber from his VW Bus, and it loved it. Soon after, Markham began creating toys with the same feel, texture, and strength.
The KONG Flyer is the latest iteration of that process. The toy offers ultra-durable construction and provides parents with a fetch accessory that can stand the test of time.
The KONG Flyer is made of the company's classic rubber and, unlike rocks, is gentle on teeth. It also features dynamic rebound, making it more unpredictable when it hits the floor. Furthermore, because of the soft plastic, it is more forgiving when you catch it, making it comfortable to use all day long. 2.8 x 22.9 x 22.9cm
